Hello!
I thought that since the Park is more Anime Style than Video Game Style we should have a thread were we list all of those easy to miss reality bits that are not found in the game but are facts in anime.
Reply to this thread with any easy to miss facts and I'll add them to the list (if you can edit them into this post, that's fine too).
Attacks/Moves that are different on the Anime:
1-Dragon Rage: It's actually a Dragon Type Flamethrower
2-Sandstorm: It can also be used as a Ground Type Twister
3-Swords Dance: Raises attack plus it's spinning motion can deflect flames.
4-Roar- It might scare away the Pokemon, or it might intimidate it. This will hinder the user as it will only get 15 encounters.
5-Whirlwind- It's a flying type twister. It should only blow away the wild Pokemon if it was used for that purpose, otherwise it's a very good attack to use in battle for both damaging and strategic purposes.
6-Teleport- It doesn't necesarily teleports the trainer away along with the Pokemon. On anime, it's used to dodge incomming attacks and, depending on the surroundings, it could teleport the user to a hiding spot behind a tree or rock.
7-Heal Bell- It heas scars, status conditions, and some health as well on the Anime.
Facts from the anime:
1-Grass types lose their resistance to electricity if they are not touching the floor.
2-Grass types become immune to electricity when grasping onto the floor.
3-Using a physical Steel type move on the floor will give temporary immunity to electricity for the duration of the attack.
4-Some Pokemon can fly or levitate without being that type or having that ability, so they are not affected by most ground type moves.
5-Some Pokemon can feel vibrations or sence presences.
6-Some Pokemon have natural poisons or stinks not mentioned in the games.
7-Many Poison type moves are flamable.
Please post to add your suggestions
