Well, I was thinking, most of the members who are going to come to the Ranger Park will actually come to escape the Story Forum.
So, I propose that things like grammar, variable vocabulary, lenghts, and things around that side of grading to be put aside when a Ranger looks at a post.
Like, first you look at Realism and Creativity, the bonuses for using all factors (Pokemon's health, sorroundings, weather, etc), and things around this line rather than the story-quality of the post.
We want to discourage members from making a long poetic 10 sentence paragraph just to say that the trainer tripped on a rock and fell just to make the post look more appealing.
Any comments on this?

I agree, except I think that you need to add in that Description is very important.
A good roleplaying can't properly put down what he or she wishes to do unless a good description is written. Without it, the ranger might only have a vague idea of the action and thus less of an ability to write what is being done.
Other than that, I agree.

Heh, my thoughts exactly Eraizaa. I've always told Bron and Harry that Rangers should be exceptionally different from Refs/Graders although the job he/she does is somewhat similar to those two groups. Not only will they escape the story boards, some refs may end up with us as well, which is also why I suggested to have a new group of Rangers, whom do not derive from either the Refs/Graders. To have a brand new working staff for this. I agree with your points, and lol, Rangers HAVE to be different. xD

Like I said on AIM, I agree with the general idea here. We want more than length here. In fact, a short but very creative and practical post may get a much better score than a long, drawn-out post that contains 90% filler XD. Like Eli said, we don't want Trainers trying to make their posts look more epic than they really are in order to earn a good score. In fact, I think that sort of thing should be punished, because it's a waste of the Ranger's time to read through ten paragraphs and learn about something that only needed two.
This could be a Sticky somewhere, that Rangers need to keep in mind CPR: Creativity, Practicality, and Realism. I'd say Description (Detail) would go under Creativity.
And yes, I totally came up with the CPR think on the fly XD.

@ttar : Right... Over all, we want to prevent people from writing way long posts, which is really meant to be 2 sentences or such. Hmm, not really bad, but as punishments, we can even the odds as a Ranger. That be, restricting some Pokes from meeting him/her even if they use specific gear to make certain mons appear or such. lol.
