Park Rangers Bron Moltrecuno Jack Ranger Pay: $500 per Pokemon encountered Ranger Items These are the only items a Park Ranger will carry with them. Before you enter a location and between battles, you may ask for assistance. For battle items, you will need to purchase them at the Pokemart before entering the Park. Pocket Camera: $100 If you spot a Legendary, take it's picture. When you leave the park, show the picture and you will receive a reward. If you do not have a camera when the Legendary appears, it will run away before you get a chance to purchase the camera. This is a one time use camera. Poke-Doll: $100 Use in battle to distract wild Pokemon so you can easily run away. If unused, you may keep it for next time. Using a Poke-Doll will not count for your Run Away Skill. Healing Potion: $1,000 This can be purchased multiple times and will heal ½ the total Pokemon’s HP. If unused, you may keep it for next time. To use, spray on Pokemon. Status Potion: $500 Like the Healing Potion, this item helps cure status conditions. Burn, Paralyze, Sleep and Freeze will be no more with the use of this item. If unused, you may keep it for next time. To use, spary on Pokemon. Special Map: $7,000 In each Location there will be special areas that only a Park Ranger can get you through. This is the only way to find third evolution Pokemon. You must purchase a new map every time you enter. Ranger Duties *Help any Trainer and answer any questions. *Respond to Trainers waiting to get into the park by accepting/assisting/rejecting their form. Then they will create a new thread nearly quoting the Trainer’s form except for some changes in order. Location: Link: Time: Area Effects: ~Run Away Skill (10 left) ~Total Run-ins (none) Park StoreEntrance Fee: Extra Pokemon Permit: Park Store: Pokeball Upgrades: Total Money: Total Cost: StatsName: Money: Pokemon Stats: Total Items: Finding Pokemon *When the Trainer is ready to enter the Location, the Park Ranger will ask the Trainer if there are any specific Pokemon wanted and tell them of any important notifications of the Location. Also, the Ranger will inform the Trainer to call a Pokemon out as soon as he/she enters and failure to have a Pokemon out at all times will result in being kicked out. *To determine what Pokemon the Trainer finds, pick a method that is purely random. Pokemon have their own rareness to it, but also factor in how well or horrible the Trainer RP’s themself.. *Remember to keep track of Effects that may factor which Pokemon are found or hiding. *When any Stat changes for the Trainer, post it. You can post the whole Stats or just the part that was effected (whatever is easiest for you.) *Outside Moves are moves such as an HM, Teleport, Softboiled, Sweet Scent, etc. These are the moves that can be used out of battle, like the Gameboy. Some of these moves are helpful is certain Locations. Battles *The only Stats needed are the Pokemon that are battling, unless an item is used. Keep battle round results like the regular battles in the URPG. *Depending on the battle, low health on some Pokemon will make them run away rather than stay and be caught. *Moves like Roar and Whirlwind will scare Wild Pokemon away. Teleport will also teleport the Trainer and Pokemon away from battle. These will count as using a Run Away Skill. *Healing and Status Potions will only work outside of battle. Trainer’s can only use Pokemart items during battle, which they will need to purchase before coming into the park. *When a Trainer finds a Pokemon, feel free to give it any personality you want. Friendly, bored, angry, malicious. You can be gender specific if you want, but the Trainer is allowed to change it if he/she catches it. *The only chance a Trainer has to catch two Pokemon is by having a Double Battle. 2 on 2. Otherwise, once one Pokemon is caught, their time is up. Double Battles will only happen if the Trainer has at least two Pokemon with him/her. Using Sweet Scent will raise the chance of finding two Pokemon at once. Other *If a Legendary is spotted, the Trainer has one day to respond and take a picture with the Pocket Camera, if he/she bought it. At the end of their time in the Park, reward the Trainer $2,000 for the picture. If the Trainer does not reply within the day, you may double post saying the Legendary went away (have fun describing Legendaries). If the Trainer does not have the Camera, the legendary will run away before it can be purchased. *Once the Trainer is ready to leave, he/she may keep all items except the Entrance Pass and the Pocket Camera. ~Rechargeable upon revisit: All Lures and Repellents ~Pokeballs, Potions, and Poke-Dolls can be saved and used another time. *At the end of their time, post all the Trainers’ stats and outcomes (including any used items). This gives the Trainer a good idea how he/she did. This is very well stated and if there was a Thumbs Up smiley, I'd use it.
Alas, there are some mistakes here.
1. These Items shouldn't be separated from the Mart (See other thread, please).
2. The Camera idea is incredibly cool, since there's actually a use for Legaendaries, besides Articuno saving people trapped in mountains (as an example).
3. What the...? Everybody is in the same thread, and can even meet each other. It's one ongoing RPG. No making threads for each person. It's not realistic that people enter the Park and never see any others.
4. Jack, shame on you. If you wanna be a Ranger, you gotta pass the test like everybody else. The real Rangers are me, Teresa (If she ever comes back), Loyal Arcanine, and Magare.
5. What the...? You want each round of a Park Battle to count and one URPG Batte? That would make it too easy for getting money, and Ranger pay. Park Battles SHOULD NOT count for URPG Battles.
6. Se theother thread for why items shouldn't just magically come back. Items are disposable, just like the games.

2. The Camera idea is incredibly cool, since there's actually a use for Legaendaries, besides Articuno saving people trapped in mountains (as an example). lol. ;D
Fine, I dun wanna be a stoopid ranger. I'll take the test in due time. Probably after it starts.
No, of course not. I mean, after the Ranger RP's the battle, they list the stats for that 'round' of battle, much like a ref does. You know... Pikachu 5/10 (light screen) Bulbasaur 7.7/10paralyzed
and any other abilities and items used as well.
So this thread is complete I guess. Except for moving all items to one thread, which I thought was a better idea (but i didn't want to edit anything just yet until you saw everything I'd written.)

Please Take out our little notes, as we talk. Also, the words FIX are for you to fix and then to remove the words, lol.
After looking at the "Locations post" we are working on, I've decied to go back to these: Common = 50% Intermediate = 20% Rare= 10% Legendary = 5% (Each Location has their own odds, some of which may not agree with the above percentages.) Please make it so.
And PARK RP was meant for you to change it to Park RP.
About the expiring: The pagers/reperalns dont expire per se. They can be bought in bulk and not activated/set to anything. If a person has 6 pagers, two repelents, and uses three pafers (for something) and one repelant (also for something), then they can take the unused ones for later with them when their characetr leaves. Once a pager/repelant has been activated and set for somethign, then they cease to funtion after use. Otherwise they can be put in the Trainer Stats until used.
I hope that is understandable now.
EDIT: And what about Ranger Pay? When are we gonna figure that out? I have no idea how the money will be given out for Ranger duties.

Teleport will also teleport the Trainer and Pokemon away from battle. These will not go against you Run Away Count. If the Trainer does not reply within the day, you may post saying the Legendary went away (have fun describing Legendaries). If the Trainer does not have the Camera, you may not sell the Camera to the Trainer at that time. *Once the Trainer is ready to leave, he/she may keep all items listed below: ~Pokeballs, Potion Items, and Poke-Dolls can be saved and used another time. ~Pokepagers and Repellents can be kept if they were unused and/or weren't set to anything. *At the end of their time, post the Trainers’ stats and outcome. You may use this form or create your own of similar nature. Trainer: Location: Money: Pokemon Stats: Items to Keep: Area Effects: ~Run Away Count (10 left) ~Total Pokemon Encountered Pokemon Caught: Rating: A - F (This is optional) *The following are semi-complete factors that may be in effect.*Pokemon AbilitiesIlluminate- If the Pokemon is on the field, chance of encountering rare and second evolution Pokemon raises by 10%. Okay, now all that's left is Ranger Pay. How about maybe $500 per Poke encountered by the Player. What do you think? We can't count the amount of pokes the Player uses, since they wil always have the same amount until leaving.
Of course, I will wanna go over all threads all over again, just to be sure, so when I say "all that's left" I mean at this point I haven't rered everything.

Sure, $500 per Pokemon is fine. We can always change it later.
